Working at Woodview Care Centre

Systems and processes to identify and report potential abuse were ineffective. Staff had not always raised concerns in line with the provider’s policy.

Staffing levels had not been reviewed regularly to ensure there were enough staff even though there had been changes to the people who lived at the service. People and relatives raised concerns about the lack of staff.

Training required by law was not completed by staff. The provider had not ensured that training in Learning Disabilities and Autism which is required by law was completed by all staff.

There had not been a registered manager at Woodview Care Centre since July 2024 which had impacted on the quality of the service.

There was no activities co-ordinator to ensure meaningful activities were on offer. People told us there were no activities and staff don’t have the time.
