Working at Woodley Grange

People were kept safe as staff had been trained and had the knowledge and confidence to identify safeguarding concerns. There were appropriate arrangements in place for the recording and administering of prescribed medicines.

Staff had developed positive and caring relationships with people and their families. Staff were highly motivated and demonstrated a commitment to providing the best quality care.

People were supported by staff who had completed a wide range of training to develop the skills and knowledge they needed. Staff praised the training provided. Staff were offered the opportunity to complete national vocational qualifications.

Pre-school children visited the home from 'Imagine this workshop' weekly... The service had previously obtained some baby chickens... gardening, painting sessions, animals including llamas and owls, community outings like cat café.
