Staff were knowledgeable about the safeguarding process... effective systems... to ensure people were safe from... harm and abuse... Leaders notified the local authority and CQC of any safeguarding concerns; care plans contained appropriate guidance... to keep people safe.

Per 2018 comprehensive inspection: Everyone spoke about the staff... as being 'Amazing', 'A massive family with staff and people as one' and 'The best home ever'; staff felt proud and worthy.

There were sufficient numbers of experienced and skilled staff... Staff told us there were enough staff to meet people’s needs... supported by a consistent staff team who knew them very well.

Per 2018 comprehensive inspection: All care staff had completed the Care Certificate... ongoing training planned... staff encouraged to take on meaningful champion roles... extensive dementia training including workshops on relationship care.

Per 2018 comprehensive inspection: People, staff and relatives described the registered managers and provider as very approachable, available and supportive; staff talked very positively about their jobs and echoed the ethos of feeling 'proud and worthy'.

Per 2018 comprehensive inspection: Level 1 Butterfly award... quality of life lead care worker... weekly outings, theme days, bucket lists, doll/soft toy therapy, pet therapy, intergenerational projects with school, nationally recognised practices.
