People and relatives told us there were enough staff. One staff member said, 'We have time to talk to the residents and can do the job properly because we have enough staff to not be rushing.'

There was a comprehensive training programme adjusted to include training relevant to individual needs, for example stoma training. Staff supported with supervision meetings and appraisals; Investors in People silver accreditation.

We observed variety of activities: art, TV quiz, balloons game, reminiscence with objects, Magic Moments special outings like gardens and theatre, miniature pony visits.
