Working at Waterbeach

Staff say there aren't enough permanent workers, so people sometimes can't go out in the evenings and they use staff from another home or regular agency.

neither of the two staff that we spoke with thought there were enough permanent staff. Both staff members told us that this meant people were sometimes unable to do the things they wanted to do.

Varied outings to day services, church and library but no dedicated activities coordinator or specialist programmes to enrich the working day.

People had access to a variety of activities that staff supported them to take part in. Most people visited day services regularly throughout the week... one person attended church... visited the library to use their musical books section.
