Working at Visitation of Our Lady Residential Care Home

Activities are basic like puzzles, singing, religious services and chats, with no full-time coordinator or special programmes to make days more varied.

Someone comes once or twice a week to do activities. They do crosswords, puzzles and watch old Polish films. One of the sisters is always sitting with them (per 2017).

Only standard mandatory training like safeguarding and medicines, no specialist courses or funded qualifications for career growth.

Staff had received training that the registered manager had identified as mandatory... refreshed annually... medicines training... safeguarding adults (per 2017).
