The provider had a proactive and positive culture of safety... However, staff knowledge about people’s risk was not always up to date. We reviewed a person’s care plan that had recently been updated... not all staff we spoke with were aware of this change.

We received mixed views about staffing. Some relatives told us they felt there could be more staff at times, but did not feel this had impacted people receiving timely care. Most of the staff we spoke with felt there were enough staff to meet people’s care needs.
Staff shared examples with us of how they had been supported to progress both personally and professionally. This included specific support to progress in their careers which included funded time for them to study.
