Staff had a good awareness of safeguarding procedures. Risks to people were assessed and care plans included details of action staff needed to take to keep people safe. Medicines were safely managed.
Staff and relatives described the service as being like a family home. Relatives and staff said the manager was supportive and approachable. Staff said they were supported.
Sufficient numbers of staff were provided to meet people's needs. We observed there were enough staff to support people in the home and for taking people to activities in the community.
