Per 2019 comprehensive inspection: Staff received safeguarding training... Risks to people had been identified and risk assessments completed... Medicines were ordered, stored, administered and disposed of safely... Accidents and incidents were documented and responded to appropriately.

There was a positive culture at the home. Staff told us they were well supported by the provider and their colleagues. One staff member said, 'I am supported by [provider] and manager and then when I am working I am supported by my colleagues.'

Per 2019 comprehensive inspection: There were enough staff working each shift to ensure people's needs were met in a timely way. Staff told us there were enough of them working each shift to provide people with the support they needed.

Staff received the training and support needed... two-day face to face training program... in-house induction... training program which staff completed training and had regular updates... Staff told us the training helped them develop appropriate skills... regular supervision and... annual appraisals.

The provider worked at the home most days and they were supported by a care manager. They knew people really well and people responded to them positively. Staff told us they were well supported by the provider... 'Support is above and beyond.'

Per 2019 comprehensive inspection: There were two activity co-ordinators who supported people to take part in a range of activities... people engaging in games with a large balloon... arts and crafts and a singing group... trips... themed activities.
