Staff were knowledgeable about... safeguarding... Medicines were administered safely... There was a positive approach to safety and risk which was not restrictive... Accidents and incidents were recorded and analysed.

There was a happy family atmosphere at the home. Staff told us they felt valued and enjoyed working there. Staff told us they worked as a team to deliver high standards.

The registered manager led by example and actively promoted positive support strategies... Relatives felt the service was well managed and spoke positively about the changes the registered manager had made.

Relatives told us staff were effective at providing people with access to an exceptional range of activities... photographs of people enjoying... trips to Blackpool, horse riding... Two people... supported to find voluntary work.
