Safety risks like missing assessments for behaviours and unsuitable fall mats aren't managed well, putting residents at risk.

Risks associated with people’s care needs were not always identified, assessed and mitigated. For example, 1 person was at risk of potential injury due to them hitting out at the wall, while lying in bed. We found no risk assessment or guidance in place for staff.

Management oversight is weak, audits miss safety issues and there are repeated regulation breaches.

Governance systems and managerial oversight had failed to identify and address these issues to ensure the environment was safe prior to our inspection feedback.

Staffing is adequate but relies on bank staff for sick cover, and some residents wait too long for help.

We have bank staff. If someone calls in sick, management will send someone to cover.
