Medicines had been stored, administered and recorded appropriately. Staff had received medicines training and had their competencies assessed by a senior member of staff. Risk assessments had been developed to reduce the risk of harm occurring.

Staff told us they felt supported within their role. Staff we spoke with told us they were well supported and able to share ideas.

There was a sufficient number of staff on duty to support people.

Staff training records were up to date and specialist training had also been provided. Regular supervisions and appraisals had been conducted by management.

People were supported to choose activities that were of interest to them. Some people received one to one support from staff and had weekly activity plans in place. The activities on offer varied and included visits into the local community, trips to shopping centres and leisure facilities as well as visits to concerts, museums and participating in charity events.
