Risks to peoples safety were assessed and action taken to minimise the risks... staff were aware of their responsibilities in safeguarding... People received their medicines safely... Accidents and incidents were reviewed and action taken.
There was a positive, person centred culture within the service. The registered manager had worked with the staff team to develop a set of 'ethics'... Regular team meetings were held and staff told us they felt able to contribute ideas.
Sufficient staff were deployed to meet people's needs. Rota's showed consistent staffing levels were in place. The registered manager told us that there was some agency staff used at the service although these were regular agency staff who knew people well.

People had access to a range of activities in line with their interests... we observed a number of people attended various day services whilst others went out for coffee or shopping... aromatherapy, raki, film sessions and loves listening to her music.
