Some staff were not wearing masks properly and there were gaps in cleaning records and dusty rooms.

We observed several staff not wearing facemasks properly... gaps in recordings that these areas were being cleaned consistently... some people's rooms had not been cleaned effectively and found cobwebs and significant dust gathering.

No permanent manager registered yet, although the acting manager is hands on and staff like her.

There was not a registered manager in post. There was a manager who was going through the registration process with CQC. Per 2019 comprehensive inspection.

Only basic activities like bus trips and singers sometimes, no regular programme so mostly routine care.

Some activities were on offer, but some staff felt there was not always enough time to run them... 'We've had some nice trips in the mini bus.' 'They had a singer in recently'. Per 2019 comprehensive inspection.
