Working at The Old Rectory Care Home

There was a positive, open, transparent and empowering culture in the service. Staff told us that the new management team was positive, open, approachable.

There were enough staff to support people at the time they needed it. One person told us, 'There is always plenty of staff around, they are always hardworking.'

Per 2019 comprehensive inspection: Staff received enough training to support them in their roles. Staff also received supervisions which were an opportunity to discuss their role and any training requirements.

Per 2019 comprehensive inspection: People told us about a range of activities they engaged in, such as games and crafts. There was a weekly schedule for activities, such as making things for Easter, baking, flower arranging, games and going out to a café.
