Medicines were not always managed safely. We found several creams out of date. We noted a medication error... Processes were in place... However, we were not assured that audits were always effective... areas of the service to be dirty... 74 incidents in the last 6 months.
Staff told us they felt well supported and could raise issues as required. During our 2 days we noted staff were polite and felt happy with the current management support.
Enough staff were employed to meet people's needs. Staffing at the service had recently improved... but there was a reduction of staff from 7pm which could impact on people's choices.
