Detailed risk assessments and behaviour management plans were in place to manage all risks. Regular checks and audits of the medicines were undertaken; any issues identified were rectified in a timely fashion. An analysis of falls was completed monthly and incidents reviewed for learning.

The physiotherapy team had devised an initiative they had named 'Get Moving', to encourage people and staff to spend time exercising outside. The service had worked in partnership with a Dutch university to provide internships for occupational therapists.
