The culture was open, and everyone's input was listened to and valued. Staff had confidence to whistle blow, if they felt other staff had exhibited poor practice.

Staff received relevant training that equipped them to effectively meet people's needs and provide person-centred care. Staff had regular supervision sessions, and also received observed practice sessions to ensure they delivered effective care.
Staff we spoke with were very complimentary about the registered manager. One staff member told us, '[Registered manager] is not a just a manager, they are a team member.'
The service had two activity co-ordinators in post who worked Monday to Friday... organise quite a few things such as bingo and we have a singer come in once a week. During the summer and over Christmas, pupils from a local primary school visited.
