Working at The Haven

The manager took action when medicine administration records had not been correctly completed. For example, the day prior to our inspection there were several missing signatures.

Staff told us that the manager was approachable and that they had driven improvements in the care provided and the morale of the staff team.

There were enough staff available to meet people's needs. People told us they did not have to wait long for staff when they needed them.

Staff told us and records confirmed they received the training they needed to meet people's needs in a person-centred way. New staff completed an induction to the home.

There was a social activities timetable in place which highlighted a wide variety of activities. The activities coordinator spent time individually with people.
