Medicines were received, stored, administered and disposed of safely. Staff involved in handling medicines had received recent training around medicines and had their competency checked.

Staff guidance on reporting abuse allegations is confusing, so some low-level incidents between residents were not reported to the regulator.
The registered provider had given guidance to the registered manager around incidents which they suggested may not be safeguarding matters. This was confusing for the registered manager and meant the legal responsibility to report all allegations was confused.
