Staff numbers meet basic needs but no info on agency use, vacancies or staff staying long-term.

People felt that there were enough staff to meet their immediate needs. They felt staff supported their needs effectively. We did not look at Safe and effective staffing during this assessment. The score for this quality statement is based on the previous rating for Safe.

Some outings, walks and games but no dedicated coordinator or specialist programmes to vary the workday.

We saw staff and people were playing card games together and enjoying themselves. Staff explained that people were supported to live healthy lives... group trips to do local walks around the forest.

Drink records sometimes inaccurate and second-hand smoke from indoor smoking room affected staff wellbeing at first.

Staff did not always keep clear records on what people drank... The management team had not considered the impact of the second-hand cigarette smoke on other people and staff.
