Staff say there aren't enough of them to safely meet residents' needs, even though night shifts were increased after the inspection.

Most felt they needed an increase in staffing numbers to meet people’s needs more safely. We raised this with the provider, and they reviewed and increased their staffing levels

Some staff don't feel listened to or well supported, especially about workload pressures.

We received mixed feedback from staff. Some staff felt they were supported and felt able to raise concerns. Some staff did not feel this was the case.

Safety issues like uncovered pipes and uninspected equipment were spotted and fixed during the inspection, but show gaps in checks.

We observed that pipes were not always covered to protect people from scalds, some windows were missing restrictors... not all mobility equipment had been inspected appropriately... provider took appropriate action to resolve.
