At the time of our visit, only 6 out of 21 staff had completed Epilepsy training despite multiple residents having epilepsy, with some experiencing seizures within the past year.
The registered manager did not have effective oversight of all staff members training and competency assessments.
We observed activities in the service had been adapted to suit the needs of individual residents. The activities team told us examples about how people were supported with activities and events which mattered to them.
