Systems were in place for staff to report any concerns... Risks to people were assessed and managed... Medicines administration remained safe.

Staff: 'There is a good staff team and we support each other. It is one of the strengths of working here. There is minimal hierarchy and an open door policy. Ideas are listened to and addressed.'

There were sufficient well-trained staff to meet people's needs. Staff told us they had time to sit and talk to people.

Staff were well trained and encouraged to find training they wished to do... 'individual opportunities for training. The provider has said I can look for courses to progress my career.'

Two directors both took an active part in the day-to-day running of the home... Staff: 'The owners are very good to work with. They lead by example and inspire us. Nothing is too much trouble.'

Some activities and outings were researched based to help the recovery... zumba dance class in a local fire station... going to Madame Tussauds... supported to go to colleges.
