No permanent manager in post yet, even though the current one has applied and staff like them.

At the time of our inspection there was not a registered manager in post, there was a manager in place who had recently applied for registration with CQC.

Gaps in medication records like missing times for urgent meds and checks on skin patches, even if no harm happened.

Administration times of 'time sensitive' medicines were not always recorded... Checks to ensure Patch medicines... remained in place as prescribed were not recorded.

Only standard mandatory training and induction, no specialist courses or funded qualifications mentioned.

Staff told us they received an induction and were required to complete a range of training which the provider considered mandatory including the Care Certificate.
