Working at Strawberry Fields Care Home

People were protected from the risk of abuse and neglect as staff recognised and acted upon any safeguarding concerns. Medicines were managed safely but infection control audits had lapsed and fridge temperature not escalated.

Staff told us they were treated kindly and fairly; they were encouraged and supported in their roles. The atmosphere for people and staff was friendly and supportive.

There were enough staff on duty to meet people’s needs in a timely manner. Records we reviewed demonstrated there were enough staff on duty to support people safely.

Staff felt valued in their roles and supported by the management team. All the staff we spoke with told us the provider and management team were approachable and fair.
