Managers audits missed problems like unsafe windows, messy meds storage, and unclean rooms.

Audits had not identified where window restrictors were not fitted to some rooms, improvements were needed with medicines management and cleanliness of the home.

Some bedrooms, bathrooms, and carpets were unclean, meds boxes missed open dates, and the trolley was untidy.

Medicines boxes and liquid medicines did not always have open dates on them... The medicines trolley was untidy with residue of liquid medication bottles... some people's bedrooms, bathrooms and carpets were unclean.

Staff need more training on medication types and side effects to handle meds safely.
