The provider had processes in place to protect people from avoidable harm and abuse. Staff had received training in safeguarding and knew how to report any concerns. Risks to people were identified and recorded so safety was maintained.

Staff spoken with told us during those meetings they could share any ideas, suggestions or concerns and said they felt listened to.

People told us staff were well trained, understood individual’s conditions and regularly undertook courses.

All staff spoken with said the management team were approachable and supportive. This also included seniors, nurses and unit managers.

There were designated activities coordinators to assist people to follow an activity timetable... events such as a poetry festival in Ledbury and a carol service at Hereford Cathedral... We observed people doing art disco.
