The provider had a proactive and positive culture of safety, based on openness and honesty. Staff listened to concerns about safety and investigated and reported safety events. Lessons were learnt to continually identify and embed good practice.
A staff member told us, “Everyone is good and friendly I have no concerns with support it is always available.” Another staff member said, “There are no challenging situations here, we can manage everything as a team we work to support everyone.”
Staff were recruited safely and there were sufficient staff to meet people’s needs. Staff told us that they felt there was enough staff available throughout the day and night.
The manager told us they have a training matrix in place which gave them oversight of the training staff had. We saw there were no gaps in mandatory training and staff had access to new courses.
Staff told us the management team was supportive and approachable. Staff said they were treated well. We saw regular supervisions and 1:1 support provided to staff.
