Only basic activities like arts and crafts, games, and entertainers, and some residents say it's boring with not enough to do.

One person said, 'It's alright, a bit boring, there's nothing to do.' A relative said, 'There's not enough stimulation and not enough to do.'

New staff did not always get training quickly enough.

New staff had not always received training in a timely manner but this was immediately addressed.

Staffing is adequate but they sometimes use agency staff to cover shortfalls and have no tool to match staff numbers to residents' needs.

Any shortfalls in staffing were covered by the staff team, agency staff, the home manager or registered manager if required... they did not use any tool to assess people's dependency needs that informed them of staffing levels.
