Some records relating to the safe management of medicines needed improvement. For example, where people were receiving medicines covertly there was no care plan / risk assessment... Authorisations issued for the use of just in case medicines for end of life care had expired for 3 people. Staff told us they felt very supported by the management team and were able to report concerns and said they were listened to. Staff feedback was positive about how they were supported in their work.

There could be more to do.” We observed most people were sitting in the lounge with the television on during our visit. People were not actively engaged.
