Staff told us they felt valued as individuals and were supported by the management team at all times. Staff said they felt listened and told us managers were open and approachable. Comments included, “They are very caring and supportive to everyone” and “They’re very supportive and very approachable.”
The provider made sure there were enough staff available to meet people’s needs and preferences. Staff knew people well... However, the provider’s recruitment processes were not always robust.

Staff and leaders had a shared vision and culture which placed people at the centre of the service. Staff understood their roles and responsibilities and leaders were visible, knowledgeable and supportive. The provider had a strong emphasis on promoting and supporting staff wellbeing.
People enjoyed a wide range of activities and staff ensured people’s personalised preferences and wishes were met... activities and wellbeing staff told us, “Not everybody likes big group activities, so we do 1:1 activities... We also have a ‘Wishes’ folder...”
