Staff felt highly supported by the provider and manager. One staff member said, “There is always someone at the end of the phone... I feel very supported by the manager.”

The provider made sure there were enough qualified, skilled and experienced staff... The service had an established staff team who knew people well.

Staff told us they received regular supervisions and team meetings. Staff received training and regular competency assessments to understand the importance of safe medicines management.

The manager was relatively new... enthusiastic and proactive... One staff member said, “Now [Manager] is in place, morale in the team is very good” and “[Manager] is just the perfect fit, they have come over with great skills, pitches in with everything and is compassionate and kind.”

People were able to choose various activities in-house and were supported to access their local community... “I like going out on trips”... “I like helping prepare and cook food here.”
