Following this inspection, we were fully assured by the practices within the service for keeping people safe. Safeguarding procedures were in place and risks to people’s safety had been assessed... People received their medicines as prescribed.
Staff felt appreciated and valued. There was confidence in the provider, the manager and the management team. A member of staff said, “Anything we need, we get, we ask and we get it.”... many staff told us they were, ‘family.’
People and their relatives told us there was enough staff on duty, and they had the right skills to support them with their needs... We observed the service to be a vibrant hub of activity in a relaxed way; staff were not rushing.
