Staff numbers are safe but residents and relatives say they feel a bit short staffed at times.

One person told us, 'The staff are nice, though they seem a bit short at the moment.' One relative told us, 'They are always short staffed, but keep on the ball with [relative’s] care.'

Only basic activities like arts and crafts mentioned with no activities coordinator or special programmes to make the role more varied.

People told us, 'We do different activities each day, I like the artwork and crafts.'

Gaps in records for behaviours, weights, nutrition and medication details like patch checks and cream applications mean risk management has minor issues.

In the 3 care plans... gaps in the recording of people’s behaviours... weekly weights had not been carried out for 3 weeks... patches... not always checked daily... No topical body maps.
