Only basic activities like knitting poppies and community events, no regular structured programme or dedicated coordinator to make the role more varied.

There were some activities provided at the home to promote people’s wellbeing. Staff also supported people to engage in local community events and activities. For instance, people, relatives and staff had recently knitted and crocheted poppies.

Staffing is adequate with a dependency tool and rotas, but agency workers cover shortfalls and vacancies mean recruitment is ongoing.

Agency staff were used to cover any shortfalls in planned staffing levels. The provider told us recruitment was ongoing for some staff vacancies at the time of our assessment.

Ongoing gaps in medication records and some care monitoring like nutrition mean safety checks aren't fully reliable yet.

Improvements had been made to medicines management, but further improvements were still needed to medicine records... examples where care monitoring records needed to be completed more accurately, such as nutrition records.
