People had not always effectively been safeguarded from potential harm... Medicines were not always managed safely... People had not been protected against the risk of infection or fire.

Staff received mandatory training at varying intervals from yearly to three yearly... Although, staff training was in date, given the issues we found... we could not be assured staff training was effective.
The leadership and management at the service was not robust despite the provider regularly supporting the management team. People’s risks were not always effectively managed.
There was an activities co-ordinator however they only worked 2 days a week. Staff were expected to engage people in activities at other times. There was outside entertainment.
