The service had a proactive and positive culture of safety, based on openness and honesty. Staff listened to concerns about safety and investigated and reported safety events. Lessons were learnt to continually identify and embed good practice.

The registered manager was committed and understood their legal responsibilities. There was a clear management structure that ensured staff had effective support and guidance at all times.
The wellbeing staff (involved with activities) told us they spoke to people to learn about their hobbies and interests. One person showed us the weekly activity programme and had highlighted the events they wished to join.”
