Medicines were managed safely. Staff had completed safeguarding training and the subject was also discussed in staff meetings and individual supervisions.

People and relatives said there were enough staff. They said the team was reliable and there was a very low turnover of staff.

We reviewed the training matrix for the service which showed mandatory training was up to date and most staff had achieved care qualifications.

Activities were provided and reflected what people enjoyed doing. We saw one person who was living with dementia was reassured by holding a doll. Other activities included entertainers and visits from the local school.
