People’s risks were assessed... People were safeguarded from the risk of abuse. Staff were trained and knowledgeable... felt able to report concerns... Medicines were now safely managed... Accidents and incidents were monitored, and action was taken to learn lessons... falls tracker was in place.

People were supported by enough suitably qualified staff... Agency staff were used to cover any shortfalls, but this was minimal. The rota confirmed staffing numbers were maintained and included a senior carer on each shift.

Staff had recently received training... such as moving and handling training... Staff were trained and had their competencies checked prior to administering medicines... Staff received regular supervisions and were involved in regular group supervisions and team meetings.

Since our last inspection, an activities coordinator had been employed... Activities logs evidenced several activities... such as animal encounters and baking... reminiscence activities such as 'smells from the past' and spending time with children... bingo and quizzes.
