Risks to people's individual health and wellbeing had been assessed... Incidents and accidents were recorded, reviewed and investigated by the manager. Medicines were managed in a safe way... Regular audits on medicines had been done.
Staff told us they felt supported by the management team and could go to them at any time. Staff said they were listened too and Roxburgh House was a good place too work. There was a warm, relaxed atmosphere throughout the service.
There were sufficient numbers of staff to meet people's needs and keep them safe. We observed staff had time to stop and speak with people. People and staff told us there were sufficient staff on duty.
The provider had employed a trainer to support staff to develop their knowledge and skills... Additional training, which was relevant to people's support needs was also completed. For example, dementia, catheter care, learning disabilities and end of life care. Staff received regular one to one supervision.
