Risks to people continued to be assessed and safely managed. People were supported to take positive risks. Incident reports were analysed by the registered manager to reduce the risk of a similar incident happening again.

Staffing levels remained appropriate to support people's assessed needs. We observed staff to be freely spending time with people in communal areas and to go out with people as they wished. Recruitment processes continued to be robust.
Staff undertook specialist positive behaviour training which was bespoke to the people living at the home. The registered manager sourced intermediate autism awareness training for all staff. Staff supported to undertake management NVQ.
Relatives, professionals and staff were unanimously complimentary of the manager and their leadership skills. The registered manager implemented innovative ways to drive quality improvements.
People had access to a variety of stimulating activities tailored to their personal interests. Staff took positive risks, and thought creatively: trips to theme parks, Madame Tussauds, hydrotherapy, concerts, sensory activities, work experience, college courses.
