People were protected from the risk of abuse and their human rights were respected and upheld. Effective safeguarding systems were in place and staff spoken with had a good understanding of what to do to make sure people were protected from harm.

One staff member said, 'This is a great place to work. The manager is so approachable, supportive and understanding.' Staff told us they felt consulted and listened to.

The provider ensured suitable staffing arrangements were in place to meet the assessed needs of people in a person-centred and timely way. People told us staff were available when they needed them.

Staff were suitably trained and received regular supervisions. Staff confirmed they received training that was relevant to their role and enhanced their skills. New staff had received a thorough induction.

Staff felt well supported by the registered manager. One staff member said, 'We are all supported really well by the manager. She is very approachable, understanding and supportive.'

People told us a varied range of social activities were organised to keep them entertained and stimulated. These included organised outings including attending local shows, regular entertainers and bingo.
