The service had systems and processes in place to safeguard people from abuse... robust procedures. Medicines were managed safely, and people received their medicines as prescribed.

Staff told us they enjoyed working at the home. One staff member told us 'The boss is good and that's why there is low staff turnover.' Staff were open and transparent throughout the inspection.

Staff received the training and support they required to do their job. Staff had the opportunity to discuss their training and development needs at regular supervision and appraisals.

people and health professionals spoke highly of the registered manager and the service. Staff told us they were supported in their work.

People told us they enjoyed a wide range of activities... Other regular activities included twice weekly visits from a children's play school, nail painting, a monthly religious service and a marina canal boat trip.
