Only basic activities like group and one-to-one sessions offered, no specialist programmes or activities coordinator to make the role more varied.

People had access to a range of activities when they were scheduled. Activities were both communal and on a one to one basis to ensure people were engaged in activities which were meaningful to them.

Staffing is adequate but staff are busy at times, so shifts can feel stretched.

We observed staff responding to people's needs in a timely manner, although staff were busy, and care was delivered in line with people's care plans.

Staff received appropriate training, which was relevant to their role and people's needs. Staff were supported by the management team and received formal supervisions where they could discuss their on-going development needs.
