The provider had a system to safeguard people from abuse. Staff understood how to spot signs of abuse and how to follow the provider's procedure to report concerns. People were receiving their medicines as prescribed.
The manager was undertaking a review of the culture at the service to ensure staff morale was high.
There were enough staff to meet people's needs. We observed that people were receiving care from the correct number of staff and the management team also supported people where needed.
Per 2019 comprehensive inspection: Records confirmed staff were up to date with training in safety-related topics such as basic life support and food safety. Staff had also received training in topics relevant to the people who used the service such as diabetes and autism awareness.
