We did not see evidence that all staff responsible for administering medicines had received training or had their competency checked... gaps in the recording of medicines administration. The home employed a team of 3 activities co-ordinator. They were enthusiastic and tried to encourage people where possible to join in with a range of activities... skittles in the garden... reminiscence sessions, bingo, coffee mornings... summer fayre... trip to Blackpool Illuminations.
