Working at Parkside

People received safe care and were protected against avoidable harm... Staff had been trained to recognise abuse... provider had systems and processes in place to respond to and manage any safeguarding incidents.

Staff were proud to work for the service and felt valued for their work. Staff said the registered manager was an exceptionally kind, caring and compassionate person with written comments expressing high appreciation.

Rotas showed that staffing was consistent, and we did not see any days where there was a shortage of staff. Staff commented 'We have enough staff, and we don’t have to rush people’s care. I can't remember the last time we were short of staff.'

Everyone without exception praised highly the registered manager who was approachable, resourceful and provided strong, compassionate leadership. All staff told us they were motivated to work with the registered manager.
