The provider had a proactive and positive culture of safety, based on openness and honesty. Staff listened to concerns about safety and investigated and reported safety events. Lessons were learnt to continually identify and embed good practice.
Staff told us that the new manager and clinical lead had improved staff morale, and they felt valued and supported. Comments included, “It’s so different now, better, I love working here, the manager is so good, works with us and supports us.”
The provider had successfully recruited staff over the past six months and at this time, there was no agency staff being used. Staff told us, “Agency not being used has really made a difference, because we work as team now” and “We have a good solid team now"
Supervision matrix demonstrated that supervisions were now taking place regularly. Training and competencies had been updated; supervisions had been introduced and new staff told us they had completed an induction.
