The manager is in place but quality checks miss issues like training gaps and activities feedback.

Quality assurance systems were in place; although the registered manager needed to ensure that audits and checks were appropriately monitoring and assessing the quality and safety of care people received.

Not all staff get their refresher training done, so there are gaps keeping skills up to date.

we identified that not all staff were supported with annual refresher training.

No activities coordinator means fewer varied activities especially at weekends, so more routine care tasks.

There was no dedicated activities co-ordinator at Padgate House... Some feedback suggested that more stimulating activities could be provided of a weekend.
